मेरे पास ऐसे बहुत से लोगों के फोन और मेल आते हैं जो एक क्षण में ही अपने दुखों, कष्टों का त्राण करने के लिए साधना सम्पन्न करना चाहते हैं। उनका उद्देष्य देवता या देवी की उपासना नहीं, उनकी प्रसन्नता नहीं बल्कि उनका एक मात्र उद्देष्य अपनी समस्या से विमुक्त होना होता है। वे लोग नहीं जानते कि जो कष्ट वे उठा रहे हैं, वे अपने पूर्व जन्मों में किये गये पापों के फलस्वरूप उठा रहे हैं। वे लोग अपनी कुण्डली में स्थित ग्रहों को देाष देते हैं, जो कि बिल्कुल गलत परम्परा है। भगवान शिव ने सभी ग्रहों को यह अधिकार दिया है कि वे जातक को इस जीवन में ऐसा निखार दें कि उसके साथ पूर्वजन्मों का कोई भी दोष न रह जाए। इसका लाभ यह होगा कि यदि जातक के साथ कर्मबन्धन शेष नहीं है तो उसे मोक्ष की प्राप्ति हो जाएगी। लेकिन हम इस दण्ड को दण्ड न मानकर ग्रहों का दोष मानते हैं।व्यहार में यह भी आया है कि जो जितनी अधिक साधना, पूजा-पाठ या उपासना करता है, वह व्यक्ति ज्यादा परेशान रहता है। उसका कारण यह है कि जब हम कोई भी उपासना या साधना करना आरम्भ करते हैं तो सम्बन्धित देवी – देवता यह चाहता है कि हम मंत्र जप के द्वारा या अन्य किसी भी मार्ग से बिल्कुल ऐसे साफ-सुुथरे हो जाएं कि हमारे साथ कर्मबन्धन का कोई भी भाग शेष न रह जाए।
